   Lead Research Operations Support Services: Direct and manage support services for a $100 million research operation, benefiting over 500 staff and clinician researchers across Southern California locations including medical centers, clinics, laboratories, and administrative facilities.• Drive Efficiency: Implement reliable, cost-effective, and efficient ancillary research support services such as payroll, human resources consulting, research clinic and laboratory infrastructure, facility operations, and other centralized general services.• Strategic Partnerships: Establish, maintain, and leverage strategic partnerships with executive leaders, departments, and key stakeholders to drive long-term strategic planning and capital investments.• Lead Initiatives: Spearhead high-visibility and high-impact initiatives, including the launch of the first dedicated clinical research center in a KP Southern California medical center and the region\'s first research study pilot operating from a KP Target Retail Clinic.• Develop Organizational Capacity: Cultivate high-performing teams and expand programs with significant return, including multiple internship talent pipeline programs, research seminars, and various process improvement and change management projects.• Ensure Safety and Security: Support staff safety and security by leading the department’s Business Continuity Plan and team, overseeing the department emergency notification system, partnering with regional and national security and safety SMEs, and organizing relevant trainings (e.g, BLS, prevention of workplace violence, service recovery).
