In February 2017 I led the Management Buyout of the business with the backing of Primary Capital and became the CEO. We acquired Terrawise Construction Ltd in November 2017 to give the group specialist engineering capability focused mainly around railway electrification. Over the next two years we generated 25% of organic growth and opened new operating centres in Nottingham and Glasgow. At the end of control period 5 NWR devolved from being a centrally run organisation to operating in five separate routes. Readypower continued our geographical growth to mirror the new NWR regional set up. We opened our fourth operating centre in Warrington and our fifth in Caldicot during 2020 to complete the strategy of having an operational super hub in each NWR region. In September 2020 we acquired all the rail assets of the Holyrail business giving us an additional 18 modern machines to the fleet. In October 2021 we completed the acquisition of Complete Drain Clearance. We now have three group operating companies, Readypower Rail Services, Readypower Terrawise, & Readypower Complete Drain Clearance. We are the largest railway operated asset hiring service provider in UK rail and our revenue this year will be in excess of £60m
