Our second generation will also inactivate those bacteria.“The in situ and rapid detection of live and dead bacteria is crucial for preventing and treating chronic wounds, acute wounds, traumatic wounds and nosocomial infections. Traditionally, determining the number of pathogenic organism involves specimen collection, appropriate culture within laboratory environments, and counting the colony-forming units. These are very time-consuming processes(up to 96 hours) and could therefore increase the risk of infection, antibiotic resistance or even death.
