APD Records, How can I help you?\" It\'s not just another formal greeting to me. People contact the police and it\'s never good news, but I am here to assist you in your most difficult time in the most compassionate way possible. Being a Police Records Clerk is not your typical admin job. It\'s more like the desk officer you see on a police tv show or movie taking the initial police reports at the desk. You never know what you\'re going to get when you answer that phone, but I am here to help with the problem-solving into that situation in order to guide you toward the solution. Working at APD for 7 years in various roles, the greatest compliment I ever got a at work was that I just got into my work and got the job done. I data enter and come across 100\'s of confidential information such as PII, SPII, and classified assets on a daily basis. Whether it\'s from documenting police reports, processing traffic citations, auditing/archiving police forms, or accessing the justice database systems. I have a responsibility to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information within APD. When I\'m not at work, you can catch me at a tennis court or at hobby shop finding a model kit to build. But that\'s if I can the time approved by my bosses; my baby boy and loving wife. Although this line of work has its stressful and intense moments depending on the call. I\'m grateful for the wonderful support systems I have which credit to how I work. Life has taught me even if you take chances at improving your career. Even if things don\'t go well in your favor at the end. Then you have no regret, you tried, and you move on to trying new things.
