ABOUT RUSSELL BENNETT
I specialise in providing advice on capital allowances and other fiscal incentives, to clients in all sectors and ranging in scale from owner-managed businesses to multinational and listed groups. I qualified as a Chartered Taxation Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and I am a qualified member of the Association of Taxation Technicians. My experience includes financial modelling, due diligence, transaction structuring, expenditure analysis and claim preparation, and dealing with HMRC and the Valuation Office. More than twenty years’ experience in property valuation and the construction industry has allowed me to build up substantial expertise in interpreting cost data and technical building specifications, and in leveraging this understanding to maximise the tax relief available on property and construction expenditure, helping clients to benefit from tax breaks and regeneration and sustainability incentives.
