Responsible for creating an atmosphere for volunteers and staff to succeed in meeting the goals of JDRF of improving the lives of all people affected by Type 1 Diabetes by accelerating progress on the most promising opportunities for curing, treating, and preventing the disease. As Executive Director (ED) I will help accomplish the JDRF goals through leadership, management and growth of the West Tennessee Region, annual budget development, planning, implementation and evaluation of all operations and events in conjunction with the Regional Director and chapter Board of Directors. As ED I will also develop and sustain an effective volunteer Board of Directors, lead the major donor cultivation efforts and manage the West Tennessee staff.
