Moffitt has been providing industrial ventilation solutions since 1961. The Moffitt team of HVAC design engineers, equipment fabricators, and contractors provide complete turn-key service.Design responsibility for all products in North America (2 factories) including engineers, CAD designers, future laboratory and compliance (UL and AMCA).$60 million annual revenue and 13% YOY growth.Responsible for planning, directing, organizing, supervising, managing, and leading product development engineering and technical product management. 6 engineers and CAD designers and growing. Created a Product Development Engineering organization. Implemented AMCA certification for newly acquired Romla Fan product line in Tijuana, MX. Planning an AMCA certified airflow test chamber. Implemented lower cost Romla Fan products after VAVE workshop. Created new fan selection software. Integrated third party manufactured industrial HVAC products into Moffitt format technical literature and documentation with future plans to develop industrial product at Moffitt manufacturing facility. Improved quality and cost of adiabatic cooling product line after VAVE workshop. Designed other various custom designed HVAC products requested by customers. Added electrical engineering capabilities in order to grow the control system product line. Added new product development engineers to support growth. Created ECN and Deviation systems. Created engineering standards and engineering policy and procedure systems.
