ABOUT RUSHMITA BANSAL

I am a clinical psychology student driven by a deep curiosity for understanding people and a strong commitment to making a difference. My passion lies in holding spaces where compassion and empathy can exist, allowing meaningful connections and positive change. With a focused approach to learning, I have honed my ability to adapt to challenges and continue building essential skills through hands-on internship experiences. Alongside maintaining a strong academic record, I actively engage in extracurricular activities such as playing instruments, photography, reading literature, novels, traveling and talking to locals that enrich my perspective and help me grow. I am particularly motivated to work with children, inspired by the idea of helping them navigate their unique challenges and contributing to their well-being and also research. In the future, I would like to expand this work into social service. I am also fascinated by the links between the brain, physiology, and behavior, which developed my interest in neuropsychology. Currently taking a year for internships to better understand the field and my interests.
