ABOUT RUSHIL VERMA
I\'m Rushil Verma, a fourth-year B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) student at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, with a strong academic and professional interest in Intellectual Property Law. Driven by a relentless pursuit of justice and a commitment to legal excellence, I approach every challenge with analytical rigor and genuine empathy. I am inspired by the transformative power of the law - its ability to bring clarity, fairness, and tangible change in complex situations, and I believe that the law is not just a profession; it\'s a commitment to justice, integrity, and impact.Over the course of my legal education, I have focused my internships and research on IP prosecution and litigation, as I aspire to build a long-term career as an IP practitioner.Through internships at leading law firms and IP focused practices, including Fox Mandal & Associates, Khaitan & Co, MVS Legal LCGN LLP, Netlawgic Legal Services, Legal, and the Supreme Court Chamber of Advocate Ranvir Singh, I have gained practical exposure to trademark prosecution, oppositions, infringement analysis, drafting of legal notices and pleadings, legal research, advisory work, and IP related research. I have also had the opportunity to observe litigation proceedings before multiple Commercial Courts in India, which enhanced my understanding of how IP disputes are argued and resolved in practice. These experiences, along with my publications and participation in several moot courts, have helped me develop strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a balanced understanding of how IP law operates in both contentious and non-contentious contexts. They have also deepened my appreciation of the commercial and strategic importance of intellectual property in today’s innovation driven economy. I particularly enjoy research intensive work, precise drafting, and analysing legal issues from both doctrinal and practical perspectives, while maintaining clarity, consistency, and professional ethics in my work.In my future profession, I see myself as a diligent and responsible IP lawyer who contributes meaningfully to client matters while continuously refining technical knowledge and practical skills. I am keen to advance in a structured environment under experienced practitioners and to build a long-term career in Intellectual Property Law, approaching my professional growth with sincerity, discipline, and a strong willingness to learn.
