Working at HID’s Global Hardware Platform group within all business areas in providing global certifications for new and existing products. • Handling Safety, EMC and Environmental certification for globally sold products • Technical file preparation for country submittals around the globe by understanding of what is required for agency submittals and requirements of testing agencies including the projection of timelines to achieve certificates, updates to Project Management, and expense control. • Assisting in product evaluations (Safety + EMC), design reviews, safety analysis, submittal preparations as necessary, performing pre-compliance testing and UL File maintenance. • Working on environmental regulations and standards: EU RoHS, REACH, Prop65, TSCA, directives • Interfacing with project teams on a regular basis to ensure new designs will meet the requirements for global regions for both the Low Voltage Directives, along with regulatory agencies, laboratories, the compliance team, management, marketing, customers, and engineering.
