As a buyer at Valmet, I am responsible for executing various buyer activities, such as PR to PO conversion, buyers KPI metrics, on-time deliveries, lead time validation, shortage and excess escalation management, pull-in, push-out, and material data validation with suppliers. I ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement in procurement activity, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve optimal results.I have over four years of relevant experience in supply chain and operations management, having worked as a senior analyst at Flex and an order placement and purchase analyst at Kelkar Auto Parts. In these roles, I conducted data analysis to identify and resolve data quality issues, such as price variations, lead times variations, quantities, transport management system, and business partner number. I also demonstrated my skills in SAP MDG, supplier sourcing, and supplier negotiation, as well as my analytical and business savvy mindset.I hold a Diploma and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sinhgad College of Engineering and NBN sinhagad school of engineering, respectively.
