Understanding the principles of immune response has immense importance in human healthcare. The contentment of working for the improvement of human health was a driving force to take research in immunology as a full-fledged career goal. The research experience in Tumor Immunology at ACTREC-Tata memorial Centre is helping me to contribute in biomedical discoveries and innovations towards patient care. The current advancements in the availability of Cell Therapy for cancer management intrigues me to apply my knowledge and skills for development, improvement and manufacturing of Cell Therapy Products. Working towards betterment of patient health gives me deep satisfaction.

Developing new platforms for CAR-X cells. Process Development: Developed end to end close loop manual CAR-T cells manufacturing process and transferred to manufacturing. Improved the process efficiency by optimization of unit operations and upgradation of cell culture bioreactor with cost reduction upto 30%. Evaluated the automated platforms like Cocoon, Adva X3, Sepax C Pro, CliniMACS Plus and CytoSinct. Conducted the long term, accelerated, in-use stability studies of raw material and final product. Leading the project to develop NK-CAR and γδ-CAR T cells.Manufacturing: Set up the cGMP Facility for cell Therapy products manufacturing. Developed system for functioning and smooth co-ordination of QC, MFG, QA, Warehouse and Facilities and operations to ensure cGMP compliance and audit readiness. Leading the team for CAR-T cell manufacturing in cGMP environment for the clinical trial and commercial operations. Planning the manufacturing function for commercial operations. Completed the qualification of equipment, training of personnel and validation of process as per QMS. Played key role in receiving technology transfer of process.
