Lead the Budget Office within the State of Colorado Governor\'s Office of IT’s Financial Services. Provide leadership for the Budget team and provide comprehensive support to the Chief Financial Officer by- Managing simultaneous fiscal year operations as well as being responsible for financial-related information and reporting to various OIT stakeholders- Oversees and is involved in the performance of detailed financial and utilization analysis work within the areas for all of OIT- Oversee the Real-time Billing and dispute processes for OIT’s Common Policy services- Apply analytical and leadership skills that can be applied to financial and technical realms, government finance knowledge, the ability to prepare complex financial models, and an overall understanding of the interrelationships among the various financial functions- Oversee the development of OIT’s Budget submission, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and justifications- Oversee all financial aspects of fiscal notes response to the legislature- Coordinate Budget with the Office of State planning and budgeting and statewide customer financial units- Maintain OIT’s Common Policy funding methodology for annual request and defense. Act as statewide expert in OIT Common Policy Development- Work with Service Owners/Service Line Managers to develop new or modify existing rates- Provide guidance to OIT customers regarding rate development methodology, service pool costs, expenditure and revenue trending
