   Currently, I serve as a Senior Specialist – Independent Assessor in the Information Security team at Novartis. In this role, I lead the security and compliance assessment of applications that are part of ongoing IT and business transformation projects. My key responsibility is to evaluate the security posture of these applications against a defined set of internal and regulatory controls before they are approved for production (go-live).This involves end-to-end engagement with project stakeholders, application owners, technical teams, and business leads to ensure that information security requirements are embedded throughout the development lifecycle. I assess architecture and design, review risk mitigation strategies, and provide actionable guidance on gaps identified during the assessment. My work helps enable secure innovation while reducing the risk exposure of the organization.Additionally, I contribute to improving internal frameworks, optimizing assessment processes, and aligning our practices with global industry standards. My approach is both technical and strategic, aimed at enabling security without compromising business agility.
