Working in Fast Ingestion team at LinkedIn, responsible for ingesting event-based data with a 5-minute SLA and 1PB of data throughput per day.• Designed an end-to-end pipeline for HDFS logs, managing 15 TB of logs daily.• Implemented HDFS Consistent Standby Read from Observer nodes, reducing throughput on the Active HDFS node by 90.6%.• Solved few of the root bug in the system which was blocker for Kafka to Xinfra migration. • Smoothly migrate 67% of tracking event data from Kafka to Xinfra so that transition can be made to Northguard (Next Gen replacement of Kafka) without any downtime.
