Responsibilities• Serve as liaison between India and the US coordinating amongst the engagement teams to provide quality returns all the while adhering to the required deadlines.• Review of the financial records, past returns, and income statements of individuals, partnerships, small/medium/large corporations, computation of the taxes owed, and filling out of necessary forms to complete the tax returns.• Research tax bulletins and tax law handbooks for updates, new mandates and information not provided by the client.• Provide tax planning to the client (both corporation and individuals), and help them project their future payments and reduce their penalties.• Reviewing and preparation of Individual, Trust, Tax-Exempt entities, Foundation & Grantor returns and provide tax and estate planning support.• Reviewing and preparation of U.S. Federal and State Tax returns for Individuals, Corporations, Partnership firms and Tax Exempt organizations using various systems like Go-systems, Corptax and Global FX.• Conducting research required for International Compliance and Fillings for corporate and individual clients.• Provides tax compliance and consulting in the field of corporate tax, partnership tax, provisions, estimations or any related tax domain such as Depreciation using software like FAS and such mainly in an international context.• Calculation of the fee for preparing each return according to the complexity and the amount of time required to prepare it after consideration.• Complete preparation of Tax forms based on the information collected, for paper filling of the returns or for electronically filing the returns.
