ABOUT RUPERT WILSON
I am a Principal Environmental Consultant and Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv, MISEP), with 10 years of experience in environmental management and assessment of infrastructure projects in the UK. My primary role is as an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) coordinator, managing technical inputs to multi-disciplinary projects for both public and private sector clients. I have experience leading a number of high-profile projects across the power sector (particularly solar), but also in road, rail and water projects, under the Town and Country Planning (TCPA), Development Consent Order (DCO) and Transport Works Act Order (TWAO) planning regimes. I have strong communication skills - acting regularly as an interface with clients, public sector stakeholders and the public for project consultation. I have also delivered a number of presentations on environmental management and assessment to professional and academic audiences. I am a mentor and manager to junior staff.
