ABOUT RUPENDRA SINGH RATHORE

I am an Earth Scientist with a Master’s of Science degree from Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur, Rajasthan. My academic journey led me to clear the prestigious CSIR-NET examination in June 2022, securing an All India Rank of 51 and qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). My interest in Earth Science also resulted in the publication of one research paper, “Emerging Prospects of Pyrophyllite Mineralisation in the Vicinity of Bikarni – Sakroda Belt of Udaipur District, Rajasthan,”in the Journal of the Mining Engineers Association of India.With over 8+ years of professional experience, I have cultivated a deep understanding of various facets of the Mineral industry, ranging from Mine Geology, Mineral Exploration to Quality Control, Mine Planning & Development, and Mineral Economics. My experience involves reconnaissance surveys, mineral prospectings, resources and reserves reporting, drafting of exploration reports and other compliance as per MEMC Rules, 2015, MCD Rules, 2017 and UNFC classification as well i was engaged in planning of production drill holes followed by sampling, stacking, etc. I have good understanding of Genesis, Geological setting and Occurrnce of Rock Phosphate, Manganese, Garnet, Gold, Soapstone, Pyrophyllite, Quartz, Feldspar, etc and other industrial minerals. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Mineral Economist (Intelligence), a Group-A Gazetted officer with the Indian Bureau of Mines, a subordinate office of Ministry of Mines, Government of India.In my current role, I am responsible for responding to important references and queries from Loksabha (Lower house of Parliament), Rajyasabha (Upper house of Parliament), Ministries, Niti Aayog, VIPs, and other government bodies, as well as addressing concerns from private agencies and the public related to the Mineral sector. Additionally, I contribute to the preparation of key publications such as the National Mineral Inventory, Indian Mineral Yearbook, and Market Surveys, while also working on reports concerning mineral royalties, taxation, and the legal framework of the Mineral industry. My role places me at the intersection of policy, research, and industry trends, allowing me to shape the future of India\'s mineral landscape.
