I am a dedicated and a strong background in Applied Geology, currently working at the Centre for Earth Sciences and Himalayan Studies, Itanagar. My journey began post-graduation with hands-on experience in the sampling and analysis of coal, using sophisticated instruments such as bomb calorimeters for proximity and ultimate analysis, and moisture content determination.Transitioning to hydrology as a Research Scholar, I further honed my skills in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which proved invaluable for conducting research in remote areas. My work has encompassed hydrogeological modeling and multi-criteria decision-making models, as well as field surveys and delineation of Springshed areas.I also had the opportunity to engage with Public Biodiversity Records (PBRs), contributing to projects under the Ministry of Forest and Environment in Arunachal Pradesh. This role enhanced my understanding of biodiversity and environmental management.Exploring alternative energy sources, I delved into geothermal energy research, focusing on the structural and geological mapping of rough terrains to assess water quality and the hydrochemical facies of hot springs. This experience has broadened my expertise in sustainable energy solutions for hilly regions.My diverse experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set in geology, hydrology, remote sensing, and environmental sustainability, driving my commitment to impactful research and innovation in earth sciences.
