Working as infrastucture engineer with Espresso, LinkedIn\'s online NoSQL, fault-tolerant, maulti-datacenter document data store. Espresso supports LinkedIn\'s premier applications: Homepage, Inbox, Profile and the Ads pipeline besides other smaller applications. Owned and enhanced Espresso Snapshot Service which uses the backups generated by espresso, to create snapshots which can be consumed by the ETL ingestion service, the databus bootstrap service and Espresso itself for its day to day maintenance- Designed and implemented the offline cross colo validation snapshot pipleine for Snapshot service- Designed and implemented the dataExpiry pipeline which is used by Espresso for purging expired data to better utilize cluster space- Designed and implemented the Upconvert pipeline which helped applications reversion their data- Helped in capacity planning of the Snapshot service cluster in multiple colos.
