ABOUT AMBER SHUANG
My name is Ruofei (Amber) Shuang and I am studying Economics and Statistics at UNC Chapel Hill.I am a varsity tennis player who started learning tennis since 9 years old, and have continued my tennis journey by playing competitively in my hometown of Beijing, China, as well as Division athletics at Illinois Wesleyan University. I have kept my strong, competitive tennis interest and keen focus on camaraderie and teamwork by being in the UNC Club Tennis team. Among other hobbies and interests, I am always willing to try and learn new things, ultimately to pique my curiosity of things around the world. Since middle school, I have joined different sports club and took interest in thriving in my university environment. I have also learned to play different musical instruments and lived in different areas in both the United States and China. In my spare time, I love playing different sports and like to travel. Until now, I have traveled to more than ten countries, and ready to explore more places. I view these as opportunities to learn more about cultures, meet new people, and immerse myself in a new environment. Altogether, I love getting out of my comfort zone and always try something new!
