ABOUT RUNE REINERTSEN
I have been working in different management positions, mostly within oil & gas since 1991. Some of my experience is from consulting companies, but most of my experience is from operators at the Norwegian Continental Shelf. I am self-motivated with a desire to develop and make business grow and blossom. I find motivation in producing results according to goals trough and with my colleagues and have a good track record for achieving this. I emphasize an inherent high safety and ethical standard in all I do. Flexible, but still a firm management style with a high loyalty to achieving goals. Good at prioritizing distinguishing between what is important and not, related to the current context. Always seeking for improvements. In this context, I have been driving improvements by implementing LEAN-mindset and also using digitalization with AI and implementing cognitive systems utilizing expert opinions combined with real time data and historical data as input. I have experienced that implementing LEAN-mindset and digitalization are important tools to achieve good and improved operational results and by that good and improved economical results. By nature, I am a system thinker accepting and living by the principle that:\"Everything is connected in one way or another\". I am confident and social/extrovert, and I feel comfortable in most environments and settings.
