Championing the operations of the Company in a manner that benefits the Group’s stature and reputation. •Generating and cultivating robust, sustainable and effective relationships within the senior management and the executive management teams. •Maintaining a commercial viewpoint, through maximising value through operational improvements. •Responsibility for the full P&L of the O&M function, monitor and evaluate business and leadership performance and drive long term, sustainable value. •Focus on building capabilities and strengthening the O&M leadership team, embedding industry leading standards of Health and Safety and LightsourceBP values. •Lead in a multicultural/environment, motivating a highly qualified team of diverse nationalities and effectively communicating with internal stakeholders on a continental scale. •Establish short-term and long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting disciplines, based on appropriate KPI’s. Establish the performance goals, allocate resources and assess policies for senior management. •Act as a thought leader and team player who builds consensus and a shared vision across the company and wins support to execute the strategy and business objectives. •Leadership of the operations management team including Heads of various business functions from Engineering, Client Relations, Planning and Scheduling and Health and Safety. •Ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements relating to operation of sites •Maximise production and asset availability through proactive maintenance procedures, building a ‘Best in class’ culture across the operational teams. •Drive EBITDA performance against operating and capital budgets.
