About Ruma Saha
Design, for me, has always lived in the space between intuition and precision. Over the past few years, that balance has shaped my work across concept development, working drawings, interiors, and Vastu-aligned planning.I’ve worked with teams in Australia and Bahrain and spent time in my family’s AEC firm, where I learnt how design decisions actually play out on site, often the best education an architect can get.Living away from home for years sharpened my observational lens; I tend to catch the nuances others overlook, and that curiosity shapes much of my work. My instinct for space planning is occasionally guided by my quiet interest in astrology, not in a literal way, but in the way designers sometimes lean on intuition that can’t always be diagrammed.I’m currently at Studio Flux in Chandigarh, building my footing in luxury architecture and interiors. One of my favourite projects so far has been designing a hotel in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, my motherland and the place that first taught me how environments can shape people.
