A people’s person, and that is what has kept me focused on my journey for the last 16 years as a Human Resources professional. I began this journey scouting and bringing in talent in the Talent Acquisition team, moved on to develop that talent through the firm’s industry-academia program and then saw the corporate world of HR where policies and processes were conceptualized and designed. As I moved on to build my career ahead, I entered the most exciting and closest to the ground role in HR and developed organically into a full-fledged HR Business Partner. Over a period of time, my role as a HR Business Partner in firms across the BFSI and Consulting space has not only helped me reaffirm my passion for people but also provided me with an opportunity to stitch together the sub-functions of HR into a single ecosystem which is centered around upholding the culture and creating value for shareholders and my colleagues.
