About Rukku Bhatia

Passionate about events both in-person & virtual, solving problems both plain and arduous, collaborations both enormous and pint-sized. Skilled in events & experience planning, project management, and risk mitigation. With a rich portfolio spanning digital, hybrid, and in-person events of all sizes, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the biggest brands—Google, YouTube, vivo, Meta, Capgemini, Deloitte, Hyundai, OnePlus (to name a few). Currently, I’m working for Microsoft, aligned for “Microsoft AI Tour” in Asia region, a flagship event series across 14 cities in ANZ, Korea, Japan, India, GCR, and SEA. My responsibilities include demand generation, PO processing, compliance reviews, event planning with multiple stakeholders, overseeing agency management for logistics/production, creating & maintaining project trackers, and on-site event execution. In addition to above, I occasionally step in to support India local events team in my best capacity. And when I’m not juggling events, I help onboarding new team members, train & guide them through the ropes—because sharing knowledge is just part of the fun. Besides work, you can find me planning my next trip while being on one, hunting & trying out a new South Indian food place in the city, trying to finish my watch-list on Netflix, making new dog friends wherever I go, and cooking myself some comfort meals. I also love scrolling through LinkedIn at-least 5 times a day (or more) for new event marketing ideas, insights, trends, etc.
