About Ruju Rathod
Global sustainability leader with 18 years of experience - 10 years\' experience in USA and 8 years\' experience in India. I believe that the health of our environment (air quality, water quality, noise levels and diminishing natural reserves), directly or indirectly impacts our own physical and mental health. Hence, any small step we take to better the environment around us will better our own wellbeing.With over 18 years of experience in India and USA, I use both, the breadth and depth of my knowledge to create innovative solutions. I have worked as a Sustainability Manager in various stages of design and construction on over 80 buildings seeking a green building certification. These include 3 airports, 31 corporate office buildings within 9 corporate campuses and 16 education and healthcare buildings. Over the years, I have worked with small and large architectural firms such as HOK, been a visiting faculty, committee member on policy formulation and updates in India and California, ECBC Master Trainer and software creator. I am proficient in creating a larger impact and achieving set goals and objectives of the organization through strategic partnerships, customer engagement, technological advancements, financing and training programs.
