ABOUT RUIXIN ZHANG
Ruixin Zhang is a rising sophomore studying Journalism and Anthropology in the Medill School at Northwestern University. Ruixin was born in China and grew-up as a third-culture kiddo, living in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Myanmar, Germany and China. Now at Northwestern, she’s reporting at the award-winning publication The Daily Northwestern, writing for both the Campus and City desks. She’s also involved in civic engagement through the DeBerry Civic Scholars, Grounding for Public Service, and Alternative Spring Break.
