I’m a junior Finance & Accounting major at the University of Tennessee–Knoxville. My interest in tax grew after interning with a tax preparer, where I gained hands-on exposure to the preparation process and learned how important accuracy and organization are in client work. Alongside that, I’ve worked in the restaurant and hospitality industries, handling sales tracking and scheduling, which strengthened my work ethic and ability to stay organized in busy environments. I’m currently pursuing tax internship opportunities to sharpen my skills in tax research, compliance, and client service, and I plan to pursue my CPA after graduation.
