The Lead Specialist, HR Knowledge Solutions provides strategic and people-centered leadership to a fully remote team of HR Knowledge Advisors supporting members and customers with complex, HR-related inquiries. This role drives performance, accountability, and engagement by coaching and developing advisors, resolving escalated member issues, and ensuring consistent adherence to schedules, policies, and procedures. The Lead Specialist plays a key role in advancing organizational goals across and beyond the department.Working collaboratively with fellow leaders, the Lead Specialist motivates and empowers the team through targeted coaching, team-building initiatives, and structured professional development programs. This role proactively identifies skill gaps and designs training plans and learning objectives that strengthen advisor capability and service quality. In partnership with other Lead Specialists, the role delivers training, distributes learning resources, and ensures timely completion of development initiatives.The Lead Specialist provides ongoing performance feedback, addresses coaching needs, and escalates concerns to the Director, Knowledge Solutions as appropriate. By closely monitoring changes in federal and state employment laws, regulations, and emerging HR topics, this role ensures the team delivers accurate, timely, and trusted guidance as a first-line knowledge resource for members. The Lead Specialist also analyzes member trends and advisor insights to inform content development, operational planning, and continuous improvement efforts.In addition to leading the team, the Lead Specialist remains hands-on as needed by supporting member inquiries via phone, email, and chat. This role partners with management to plan and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term goals.
