About Rudy Germany
Mountain Roots has been working for 10 years to transform the local food system in the Gunnison Valley and we are on a mission to revitalize local agriculture, restore the health of our soils, grow more food and feed more people. Mountain Roots believes that by doing these things we can have a positive and lasting impact on the health of our environment, our people, and the Gunnison Valley community. Mountain Roots also runs the district-wide Farm to School program, models & teaches regenerative agriculture on two community farms, and invites volunteers into our gardens, onto partner farms, to our events, and to help pack and deliver fresh food boxes to 150 families in need on a weekly basis!
