The Human Resources Manager is a business partner that is responsible for a broad range of HR responsibilities. Primary duties include employee relations, talent management planning, compliance, employee retention, and training and development for schools throughout the division. The HRM works closely with the Divisional Vice-President on Divisional initiatives. The Division covers 17 states and has 210 locations.• Provide direct support to Divisional Vice President, District Managers, and Directors with proactive HR and business strategies and solutions.• Developed a yearly comprehensive retention plan;• Minimize the Company’s risk and litigation costs associated with W&H claims, EEOC claims, and employment law suits, that have resulted in no adverse decisions against the Company.• Lead and direct the performance management system which includes coaching, performance improvement plans, performance review process, disciplinary actions and separations.• Conduct or support in employee relations investigations and provide technical expertise for managers on employee relation/separation issues. Maintains required investigation records, forms and reports. • Recommends/conducts training and leadership development programs. Provides comprehensive HR training to all current and new division managers.• Visit schools on a regular basis to ensure company expectations are met regarding regulatory and company compliance, talent management, and employee morale and culture. • Review and approve all involuntary separations in the division.
