I am Agricultural Research Scientist (specialized in Genetics and Plant Breeding), Plant Breeder & Geneticist over 1.5 decades in crop research & development experience including more than 16+ years of commercial crop breeding experience, an enterprising person with excellent lateral thinking, smooth learning skills and good interpersonal communication skills with capability to build and maintain productive working relationships, work effectively towards achieving any goal with the help of my optimism and perseverance, believe in sincerity, hard work, commitment and truthfulness Presently working in Hot Pepper crop, Earlier worked in cucurbits crop and people management. Specs: Germplasm evaluation, maintenance and characterization of Chilli, Identification of elite parents for combining ability studies, Domestication of exotic vegetables in Indian environmental conditions, Making new cross combination using various mating designs, Evaluation of new hybrids in Chilli, CMS line maintenance of Chilli, Data recording of the conducting Trials, Identification of best heterotic F1’s during hybrid trials, Good understanding of quantitative genetics of lines for additive variance (GCA) as well as SCA of Hybrids, Crossing programme handled in Chilli using LxT mating design, Data recording for characteristics of germplasm in vegetables, Knowledge of nursery preparation and insect pest management and Development of Commercial Hybrids for different segments in Chilli and Gourds crops.
