ABOUT RUDOLPH VEIGA

I am a Hispanic, first-generation student pursuing my legal education at Brooklyn Law School, serving as an Executive Articles Editor for the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law with my note being published in Fall 2025. I previously served as a 1L Delegate for the Brooklyn Business Law Association while also becoming a member of the Latin American Law Student Association. I am particularly interested in Business/Corporate Law, with a specialization in securities or finance law.Formerly employed as a Senior Analyst for Harry Jho LLC, I have been trained in prime brokerage and derivatives documentation from a sell-side perspective. My central focus was on UMR documentation for Phases 5 and 6 of the Regulatory Initial Margin implementation as well as on Prime Brokerage, Margin Lending, and Lock Up Agreements. I interned with Thomson Reuters on their Practical Law - Capital Markets and Corporate Governance team, where I learned about a number of FINRA and SEC Regulations while also expanding my knowledge of corporate governance issues. I was also a Summer Associate at Teigland-Hunt LLP, where I supported clients with negotiating trading documentation from a buy-side perspective, and legal extern for the Real Estate practice at Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP performing legal research on a variety of issues and managing documentation.I graduated from the University of Florida in May 2019, cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Music with minors in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship, while beginning a combined degree program in my final year of studies and completing the University of Florida\'s Honors Program. I graduated in August 2019 with a Master of Science in Management.
