ABOUT RUDI CAVALIERI

I am a senior programme director (SAFe scaled agilist and professional scrum master) and finance professional with > 20 years experience operating at board level and gained within leading city institutions and leading consulting firms. I have led some of the largest strategic and regulatory transformational change programmes in the UK with budgets of up to £150m. These programmes have required significant change to target operating models (TOM), cultures, processes, technology, organisational structures and governance systems within demanding timeframes. I am known for my stakeholder management at all levels, including CXO level, and help people through complex change. In addition I have led the finance functions of M&S, Natwest, JP Morgan and Kleinwort Benson. I have over 20 years’ experience leading and advising main boards on performance and transformational change in the UK, Europe and the US. Key achievements include:• The world’s largest, banking post-merger integration programme. This required the migration (and significant changes) of client account data from 80 systems onto new technology platforms. This was achieved with a combination of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Also included was a Finance Transformation element, achieving a 40% reduction in staffing through the reengineering of its finance processes and redesigned organisational design. • The largest FCA S166 review into the mis-selling of interest rate swaps by a major High Street Bank.• Acquisition and integration of a £1.4bn AUM Asset Manager • The recovery and delivery of a technology led transformation of the London Insurance Market back office operations. Budget was £50m with circa 150 full time staff. Confirmed annualized savings were £25m.• Recovery of a £150m transformation programme for a British multinational insurer, hoping to deliver £120m in annualized savings. Rudi stabilized the programme, reworked the business case. The programme delivered £100m in cost efficiencies for this organization.• Leading the financial planning and support functions providing; reporting, decision support and leading cost reduction programmes for the boards of; Aviva, JP Morgan and M&S. Savings delivered were >£150m
