At Aggies Lab, I have been able to actively pursue my research at the intersection of AI, Cybersecurity, and Critical Infrastructure Protection, with additional focus on AI Safety, Ethics, and Responsible Autonomy. My work examines how intelligent systems can be designed and governed to strengthen the resilience of national-scale infrastructure while upholding human oversight, accountability, and trust.I am deeply involved in exploring how AI can operate securely in mission-critical environments—power grids, transportation networks, healthcare systems, and beyond—while ensuring that risks such as adversarial behavior, system misuse, and model misalignment are detected early. This includes research on ethical risk, decision provenance, cryptographically verifiable logging, and secure-by-design architectures that help safeguard society from AI-enabled threats.I’m equally driven by the broader mission: building a digital world where people feel protected. Just as civilians rest easy knowing the nation’s armed forces safeguard their physical safety, I envision a future where everyday users can navigate the digital environment with the same confidence—knowing that a “cyber army” of secure systems, ethical AI, and resilient defenses is continuously at work behind the scenes. My research at Aggies Lab is a step toward advancing this vision of trustworthy and societally aligned AI.I am also proud to have published my first research paper through Aggies Lab, an opportunity that has shaped my academic journey. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Kumar for his guidance and for giving me the chance to work alongside such exceptional researchers. This experience has strengthened my commitment to advancing secure, ethical, and human-centered AI for the future.
