I’m a multidisciplinary food systems researcher and policy advocate with over a decade of experience leading cross-sectoral research initiatives at the intersection of health equity, sustainable food production, and Indigenous food sovereignty.I specialize in translating agri-food science into actionable strategies—partnering with First Nations, academic institutions, and federal and provincial governments to reduce food insecurity and chronic disease risk. As a Investigator, I’ve secured many competitive research funding and led transformative vertical farming and functional food initiatives in Northern Canada.My mission is to advance system-level solutions that support resilient, equitable, and culturally grounded food systems—through smart agricultural technologies, inclusive research, and policy leadership.
