FAP-U FortiGuard IoT device detection • As a Staff Dev QA engineer, take a lead role on new feature developments and new protocols introduced, based on product requirements. • Design system testbed to meet customer deployment, able to efficiently narrow down and root cause customer issues. • Respond to Support, Field teams & Customer for queries on all the above features • Create and enhance documents, test-plans for the respective features • File enhancement mantis to improve the quality of assigned features • Execute full test-cycles across all assignments for each release build, file newly introduced bugs and reported them to Development team • Scope and get involved in feature-integration with Development team, to port features on new/upcoming FAP hardware platforms • Bring-up of new-hardware platforms by loading manufacturer’s image, U-boot & new ESDK • Review requirements and specifications; create test plans and design detailed test specifications to effectively evaluate the WLAN devices, protocols, interfaces and applications. • Design, develop, and execute feature and functional test cases from functional specs • Knowledge sharing among teammates and learning, to grow together as a team.
