Am a seasoned marketing and communications professional with over two decades of experience working with global organizations like Ericsson, Samsung and Tata Motors. During my career, have implemented new branding and communication ideas to add value to the brand. Conceptualizing new ideas in the marketing and communications space to support business needs and driving the execution of the campaigns has enabled me to deliver value to the business. In addition to managing external communications and marketing campaigns, have also managed sponsorships like Olympics for Samsung, internal communications and industry partnerships. Have been managing PR, event and media/digital agencies ensuring successful execution of campaigns across the brands I have worked with. As the Head of Marketing and Communications at Ericsson India, am managing Sponsorships and Industry Partnerships as well as creating own customer events, technology showcases and workshops to strengthen brand reputation and support business needs. As part of my communications lead role, have created messaging frameworks and thought leadership content for leaders across different geographies and across the various organizations that I have worked in. Have handled media crises based on media relationships and good collaboration with internal stakeholders. Have strong media relationships in the media eco system in India including tech and business media, bloggers as well as trade media. As Head of News and PR for the Market Area Southeast Asia, Oceania and India in my current role at Ericsson, am also overseeing media relations and regional events for the Market Area. Am working on Social media campaigns, including organic and paid as well as managing paid media partnerships at Ericsson. Have received industry recognition and awards for my work in the Marketing and Communications space in India in addition to several prestigious awards across the organizations I have worked in.
