ABOUT RUCHIKA ANEJA

I am an Associate Partner with KPMG Resource Centre (KRC) and a part of the KRC Leadership team. I have over 20 years of experience in Auditing and Assurance. Began my career (articleship) with KPMG in India in 2004 in the client-facing audit business and went on to work in 5 KPMG offices across India (Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bangalore), the USA (Philadelphia) and the UAE (Abu Dhabi) for nearly 9 years. Have worked extensively on Indian GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP and have audited both publicly listed and privately held companies across manufacturing, software, business process outsourcing, retail, consumer products, advertising, real estate and construction, non-profit, entertainment (casinos and motorsports), education and healthcare sectors.For the last 11 years, I have been leading offshore audit teams for the United Kingdom, Ireland, Channel Islands, Bermuda, Australia and North America (USA and Canada). Have a consistent track record of transforming businesses and teams to achieve their full potential through strategic focus, inspirational leadership, strong stakeholder management and operational excellence.Currently lead the UK & Swiss Corporates Listed and Regulated (CLR) and the Irish audit teams comprising nearly 700 team members. I have previously held other additional responsibilities:– Professional Qualifications and Accreditations (PQA) Lead: Helped manage and strengthen the relationship with ACCA (professional body) and revamped the ACCA sponsorship program through better governance and policies. – Campus Lead: Recruited 300+ people year on year, across 15+ campuses, using a data-driven strategy to prioritize our efforts on the most successful campuses – Audit Quality, Risk Compliance and Continuous Learning Co-lead as a Business Partner. – People Strategy Co-Lead: Built a strong, agile and futuristic people strategy for the audit business.– I am passionate about the ‘Gender Agenda’ at KGS and have co-lead the ‘KPMG Network of Women (KNOW)’ at KGS in the past. This network Engages, Educates and Empowers the women at KGS and is also helping nurture a culture that enables empowerment and self-growth for the women of KGS.
