About Ruchi Tripathi

I was awarded the Gold Medal in Sociology by the President of India and currently serve as a Senior Policy Associate in the Office of a Member of Parliament, where I work at the intersection of legislative research, governance, and public policy. My work involves contributing to parliamentary interventions, drafting policy suggestions, and developing research inputs that inform debates and policy formulation.Previously, I worked with the Ministry of Culture, where I gained hands-on experience in how flagship government initiatives move from vision to on-ground execution. I have been part of diverse projects focusing on women, technology, governance, and culture, exploring how policies can be designed to deliver inclusive and measurable impact.As a published author, my articles have appeared in leading national newspapers such as The Hindu, The Indian Express, and Hindustan Times, where I write on India’s social transitions, governance models, and foreign policy. My work also explores India’s evolving partnerships and the cultural, political, and strategic dimensions shaping them.Beyond policy, I am a speaker and mentor, guiding students and young professionals on careers in public policy, governance, UPSC preparation, and alternate career pathways (Plan B). I believe policy is not just written in Parliament, it’s lived, experienced, and shaped by people every day.
