About Ruby Stults

I’m Ruby Stults, a proud graduate of the W. A. Franke Honors College at the University of Arizona, where I earned a degree in Law and Political Science. I currently serve as a Case Assistant with the Arizona Department of Child Safety, where I work as a “compassioner,” helping ensure that children in care remain connected to their families and loved ones through transportation and supervised, court-ordered visits.I am deeply passionate about public service and the role of law in protecting vulnerable communities. My experiences include mentoring honors students, assisting in teaching courses on systemic injustice, and supporting students with disabilities and discipline-related challenges. I have also conducted research focused on educational equity and victims’ rights in Arizona.As a Design Thinking mentor and intern, I partnered with community organizations to help develop thoughtful, people-centered solutions. My internship experience also includes working with the American Legion on efforts addressing veteran homelessness and mental health.I am committed to pursuing law school so I can continue serving others through advocacy, compassion, and systemic change. My goal is to build a career in public interest law that centers dignity, access to justice, and meaningful support for those who need it most.
