About Ruby Werckman
Originally from Oakland, California, right after high school, I moved across the country to Washington D.C. to study at American University. During my studies, I discovered a passion for strategic communication. I love problem-solving and the flexibility the field requires. I love working with a wide range of people and learning what draws in different publics. I am always learning and growing, with a passion for new experiences and getting out of my comfort zone. In my junior year fall, I studied abroad in Thessaloniki, Greece, expanding my horizons and appreciation for the world even more. I love creativity, whether in the form of visual art, such as photography and graphic design, or creative solutions in the workspace. I am passionate about the importance of art, especially music and film, reflected by my Cinema Studies minor and years spent as a DJ for AU\'s student-run radio station, WVAU. For me, the day Spotify Wrapped is announced is an even bigger holiday than New Year\'s.
