Leads the formulation and development of innovative Personal Care, Home Care and Hygiene solutions & prototypes that showcase Arxada’s raw materials and active technologies. This role involves full end-to-end formulation development - from concept ideation and experimental design to stability testing and performance validation - ensuring functional and consumer-relevant solutions.Key responsibilities include- Designing and optimising formulations using data-driven experimentation, aligned with both technical and sensory targets- Developing and executing robust performance testing strategies to substantiate consumer benefit claims, supporting innovation across multiple product categories- Conducting in-depth market and trend analysis via Mintel to guide formulation relevance and ensure customer alignment- Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to support product positioning, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to launch readiness through trade show and marketing collateral- Delivering clear and concise data interpretations and technical presentations to internal stakeholders, including sales and marketing teams, to support project decisions and product positioning- Managing relationships with key raw material suppliers to source additional required ingredients for concept development- Applying statistical analysis tools (e.g, JMP) to interpret performance data and inform iterative improvements- Leading laboratory safety as the designated H&S representative for the Personal Care team - overseeing risk assessments, COSHH compliance, and routine inspections for a team of four- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the lab and R&D workflows, including the development of digital batch tracking systems and project management tools.
