About Ruby Fyffe
I\'m a History and Government & Legal Studies student at Bowdoin College graduating in 2026. I\'ve spent the past six years gaining communication and research experience in a US Congressional office, state legislatures, and town halls across Maine and Massachusetts. While working for Congresswoman Lori Trahan, I conducted substantive legal research on the name, image and likeness (NIL) laws of all 50 states, ultimately culminating in the College Athlete Economic Freedom Act. I also have campaign experience working on a US Senate campaign in 2020. In 2025, I was selected as a National Finalist for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship for leadership and dedication to public service. I currently serve as a program coordinator for the Bowdoin Public Service Initiative, a semester long program dedicated to learning about public service in Maine and across the nation through Bowdoin\'s McKeen Center for the Common Good.
