Contributor to a collaborative project between Diamond Light Source, the Rosalind Franklin Institute, the University of Manchester, and the University of Southampton. Assisted in classifying serial block-face scanning electron microscopy (SBF-SEM) images of mitochondria in the syncytiotrophoblast to help understand how changes in placental ultrastructure relate to pregnancy complications.
