Ensured the organization’s financial health and growth, aligned financial policies with long-term goals, and provides strategic insights to drive decision-making. Worked closely with the executive leadership team, business partners, and key stakeholders to achieve business objectives- Prepared and delivered monthly financial reports to the organization\'s leadership team, facilitating discussions on unfavorable financial results. Reports directly contributed to a $550K+ reduction in overtime costs and inventory adjustments across all four subsidiaries- Prepare and submit monthly debt covenant compliance reports to financial institutions- Developed and implemented accounting KPIs, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory turnover, aimed at improving the organization\'s cash flow- Developed, tracked, and communicated purchasing and operational KPIs to plant management teams. Operational KPIs included: on time delivery, labor variance, quality defects and inventory adjustments- Collaborated closely with the CEO and President to plan and oversee company capital expenditure projects. Managed the financial budget for the construction of three greenhouses located in New York, Florida, and Texas, with a total estimated cost of $14.5M- Spearheaded the merger of the parent company and three subsidiaries, streamlining operations by eliminating intercompany transactions, reducing job redundancies, bank accounts and credit cards, and enhancing inventory management and purchasing efficiency- Prepared a comprehensive $64M annual strategic operations plan and financial budget for the parent company and subsidiaries. The plan included detailed calculations of sales volume and mix, margin projections, manufacturing labor and workforce needs, capital expenditures, debt service projections, and overhead/variable costs.
