Intrepid Rocket- Manufactured carbon fiber body tubes with pre-impregnated carbon fiber sheets and an oven- Fixed manufacturing defects one week prior launch- Performed tip-to-tip carbon fiber wet layup to increase fin strengthHornet Rocket- Designed three-component coupler system for coupling body tube and motor casing in a subminimum rocket design using SolidWorks- Created Google Sheet to perform bending and shear calculations to select between carbon fiber, fiberglass, PETG, and aluminum for coupler system- Fabricated coupler, stepped bulkhead, and centering ring using fiberglass sleeving, carbon fiber Laminate, and PETG respectively- Manufactured Fiberglass nosecone using positive mold- Communicated with teammates to ensure manufacturing occurred as planned- Presented in 3 Design Reviews, presenting and defending coupler system
