ABOUT RUBEN TAR
Entrepreneurially minded corporate finance professional, passionate about working with companies in the middle market. I have spent the early years of my career at BMO Middle Market M&A, advising companies across a diverse set of industries through successful exits and alike mission critical transactions. Prior to BMO, I gained various professional experience in the fields of private equity, venture debt and commercial lending. I received my BCOMM from the University of Windsor with a specialization in Finance at the end of 2021. While at the University of Windsor, I was fortunate to take on various leadership roles, including the opportunity to serve as CEO of the University’s student-led investment fund (JSOSIF). I continue to invest in my education, having recently passed CFA level II in November 2023 and am currently scheduled to write CFA level in August 2025. Outside the financial realm, I indulge in golfing, skiing, travelling, and exploring the vibrant food and drink scene.
