Price Cost Analyst @Marvin Engineering Company

Review and ensure proposals are current, accurate and complete • Perform detailed analysis of sub-tier supplier proposals and support documentation to validate proposed material, labor and other elemental cost dollars in accordance to FAR • Initiate and perform fact-find visits at a supplier location to gain understanding of the Basis of Estimates (BOE), Statement of Work (SOW), Bill of Materials (BOMs) and other documentation to verify proposal dollars • Analyze and audit direct/indirect rates of a given proposal to put together rate recommendations • Communicate with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)/ Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) for audit assistance requests whenever a Supplier denies access to their proposal data • Perform analysis of historical and proposal data to develop price and cost recommendations to support negotiations with Customers and/or Suppliers • Collaborate with inter-functional departments to complete various pricing activities • Participate in putting together Price Negotiation Memorandums (PNMs) for major contracts
